Wow! What a half term it has been. The shop has been super busy this week, dresses and trousers being the most popular purchases, so I’d like to say a big thank you to Lyn and Annie for covering my days at such a busy time.
I called over on Wednesday and it was lovely to see the shop so busy – I had to wait outside before I could go in!! Emsworth is such a lovely destination to visit and there were lots of people milling around grabbing a coffee or ice cream. The combination of good weather and half term certainly brought everyone out.
I took advantage of the good weather, mostly walking and gardening (until I hurt my back!). We visited Gunwharf and had lunch out for the first time since lockdown, which we really enjoyed. Dare I say it, but it felt “normal”.
I’m looking forward to being back next week – a few different days for me I’m working Tuesday – Thursday so I hope it will be just as busy!
