It was an even shorter week for me – not only did I have Bank Holiday Monday at home, but I only worked until lunchtime on Tuesday! Lyn took over from me so that I could get home to take George to the Orthodontist!
I had a busy day in the shop on Tuesday and consequently didn’t get round to changing the window display until Wednesday – I wasn’t very well planned either, but somehow it just all came together!
I also had a rep visiting who took up a good couple of hours of my time – I was looking at some flip flops made from recycled plastic but they may be too low on stock for this summer, and he was also showing me some winter slippers – the soles are made from water algae of all things! (I’ll explain more when I receive the literature). They are cute little booties and slides with supportive foot beds. They will retail about £45 and are very comfortable – I hope you’ll like them – a pair of slippers is always a great Christmas gift! I really suffer with cold feet, so I will definitely be having a pair of the booties. I took a quick snap of the ones I opted for – let me know your thoughts……
Then on Thursday our high summer Adini stock arrived – if only the weather came with it!! Four sleeveless dresses, one short sleeved wrap dress and a fabulous striped tunic. All in store and available online now – unfortunately they didn’t have official photographs available for me to use on the website so I had to do my best myself!
What I have noticed this week, is that many of you have occasions to attend and have been looking for dresses and smart shoes – it’s so pleasing to hear that the rules have relaxed and we are easing back into normality.
I last had my hair coloured and cut in December, so imagine my relief to have had it done on Thursday – but doesn’t it take such a long time?!! I sit there thinking about all the things I could be doing, rather than enjoying a relaxing experience!! Anyway – I am delighted it’s done. Next week I have my second vaccination to look forward to!
