Karen George Ltd is an independent retailer offering a range of ladies shoes and accessories in the pretty harbour town of Emsworth, Hampshire.
Karen George is a combination of myself (Karen) and my son George. It’s a special feeling seeing our names together above the door. Incidentally George is still at school and not at all interested in selling………….. yet!
I enjoy sourcing well made stylish and comfortable footwear and it’s an absolute thrill to help a customer to find their ideal pair of shoes or boots.
I have also started to stock a selection of clothing and accessories which are working well alongside the footwear. Almost every customer says how we always have something a bit different and not just what you can buy on the high street, which is the great thing about being an independent.
I really love meeting, greeting and chatting with customers who all enjoy a bit of light hearted banter and putting the world to rights.
I strive to provide a friendly, no obligation shopping experience.
Of course, I can’t do this alone…… if you visit the shop you’ll find that our friendly knowledgeable staff will be very happy for you to try on as many pairs of shoes as you wish. It is important to us that you are able to find a suitable pair of shoes and we work hard to maintain our good reputation.
We hope that as well as using this website, you may be able to visit our shop.
We listen to our customers and try our very best to accommodate requests when ordering. We personally try on all of the shoes that we order, gaining a good knowledge of their origin and often talking to the designers themselves to find out more about the manufacture of the footwear.
