Another Monday night concert this week. This time we went to see the Stereophonics at The Portsmouth Guildhall – a bit closer to home. Another great concert and another late night! That’s it now, nothing else lined up yet… It gets expensive now that George has developed a very keen interest in music too, and of course we can’t leave him out!
It’s been a really busy week in the shop – thank you all so much for your continued support and loyalty. I’ve really enjoyed the buzz of being so busy – many of you gaining great bargains from the sale.
I worked my three days and changed the window but that was all I had time to do. Unfortunately, Annie was taken unwell on Wednesday and so I covered her day on Thursday too which was another busy day! I did manage to re-dress the inside of the shop so that was a bonus.
I have had to place yet another order of our Pachamama range – some top ups of sheep and highland cows, another new print called South Georgia, and some PIGS! How cute are these? These are making fabulous stocking fillers. You love them!
We’ve also gained some new online customers around the UK which is fantastic – isn’t it nice to have some positive news? I’m thrilled that my little business is booming and I value every one of you. No customers, no business, it’s simple, which is why myself and my team work really hard to be helpful and efficient. We don’t believe in the hard sale, and trust that you can see our prices are fair for qreat quality products. Long may this continue, because I love it, and weeks like this fill my heart with pride.
I’m grateful that my husband will receive his booster tonight. The scientists say that it is still too early to know if the Omicron variant causes more serious illness, and the World Health Organisation report that its detection is increasing daily, worldwide. So the message remains the same, wear masks, keep your distance, and use hand sanitizer.
