I’m so excited! Today we are off to the Goodwood Revival and I can’t wait to dress up in my outfit again! George, Ian and I, together with Ian’s cousin, are going along today and praying that the weather will hold. If you’ve never been, I highly recommend it! It’s an expensive day out but the atmosphere is brilliant – I’m not even all that interested in the racing! There is music, dancing, funfair, entertainers, stalls and of course all of the cars. I really admire the effort some people go to with their outfits – of course, you don’t have to dress up but it’s great fun to take part.
This week, the shop has been steady – it was great to have Lyn back on Friday fully recovered and raring to go! She was greeted with a delivery of a soft brown leather loafer from Caprice which is now available on the website (see image).
It’s the last weekend of the Emsworth Arts Trail which I am sure has been a great success – we sponsored local artist, Jackie Podmore, and managed to sell the picture in our window – I know that further prints are available.
The new season arrivals are being received well, and we continue to have a mix of summer and autumn styles in stock during this transitional period – with this weather, everyone is complaining that they just don’t know what to wear from one day to the next – my recommendation is layers!
Next week I’ll tell you all about our trip to the Revival but in the meantime,
sending you lots of love, good health and best wishes. Look out for each other and be kind.
