Lyn and Annie have been on stand by to cover my days again this week – but thankfully it wasn’t necessary. One of George’s friends developed Covid and Track and Trace made contact to advise that he had to isolate for 10 days! He had to stay in but Ian and I could carry on working unless George developed any symptoms or tested positive on his lateral flow test. We have been carrying these out daily and no sign of any symptoms, so I have everything crossed that he will be fine.
It is an abrupt reminder that whist we are all doing our best to carry on as normal, this deadly disease is still out there. Fortunately his friend has recovered well and just experienced a sore throat, temperature and a cold. Roll on tomorrow and he can get out again – he’s found it pretty boring, which is such a shame during the school holidays.
We had fun on Tuesday evening and went along to view the Marble collection for 2022 – oh my goodness what lovely prints and colours – paprikas, blues and raspberries! So difficult to decide but I think we did well in the end.
Some new handbags and scarves, and more Caprice footwear arrived this week. It’s always exciting when the new deliveries come in. I particularly like this leopard print bag.
