It’s been a good week for George returning to school – I think he has found it tiring though and cycling in these strong winds has been a bit of a struggle!
I don’t really know where my time has gone this week – the usual shop window refresh and a couple of orders to deal with, some more videos and another delivery of some LV tops and fabulous rose print trousers, which I love. Oh yes, and a trip to the dentist and the week was gone!
Unfortunately, the leak is back uuurrrrgghhhh! I sent a photograph to the flat owner who reports that the tenants have handed in their notice and he suspects that they have been using the shower again, against instructions! The plumber will be back next week to resolve the issue once and for all.
Thank heavens I hadn’t replaced the ceiling tiles.
So it is Mother’s Day today, and I hope you are all being thoroughly spoiled and that you are taking the opportunity to relax and enjoy being waited on. Of course, it is also a reflective day, to remember all those Mother’s who are no longer with us, and had a remarkable impact on our lives. I’ve chosen an image of an appropriately named flower “Bleeding Heart” which is one of my personal favourites and one which my parents grew in their garden. I did buy myself one but I failed miserably – maybe I’ll try again this year.
Another week closer to re-opening and looking forward to showering ourselves with beautiful new shoes and clothes!
