Well, I’m pleased to say that I am now testing negative and really looking forward to getting back to the shop to see all of the new arrivals! Annie has done a stirling job all on her own, and I am sure she will be happy to spend some time at home again.
One of our new arrivals is this lovely striped cardigan – whilst we’ve had some lovely weather, it has turned cool again and we are still in need of another layer. Navy and white stripes are so fresh and this lightweight cardigan would be a great addition to your summer wardrobe.
Having been housebound, and feeling under the weather, I have spent a lot of my time on the sofa (managed to watch the second series of Bridgerton!) but I have also been learning how to create videos/marketing etc for social media. We have just completed our 5th year at Karen George, so I had my year end book-keeping to complete and all of the new arrivals to get onto the website.
I’m feeling positive about the coming weeks – with the Easter holidays and the upcoming Emsworth Arts Trail, there becomes a real buzz around Emsworth. I really hope that the weather is fabulous too.
Of course, we are also hoping that it won’t be much longer before we can welcome Lyn back to work – she only had her operation four weeks ago – isn’t that remarkable? It’ll be a few weeks yet, but when she’s ready, I know she is missing you all and keen to be back where she belongs.
