Well what a week!  It has been so wonderful sharing the celebrations together.  There is a true feeling of togetherness – the last few turbulent years were put to one side, so that we could all have a good old knees up and show our appreciation to the Queen.
Well, I did anyway!  We cycled along to Lee on Solent where there were stalls, picnics, children’s entertainers, music and dancing (yes, including me). There was a terrific atmosphere of fun and partying – everyone happy and joining in.  We bumped into friends who we hadn’t seen for a really long time, the sun was shining and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves – a little too much, as you might imagine.  We had a very lazy lethargic Friday, recovering.
It was a short week at the shop as we closed for the bank holidays, and I hope you all liked our Jubilee windows.  Lyn opened up again on Saturday and had a busy day, and I’ll be back on Monday.  We had a further delivery from Robell of the striped seersucker trousers but in a shorter crop length, which are already selling well.
I really hope you have had a good time too – it’s back to earth with a bump in our house now, as George has two more weeks of GCSEs.
Have a good week.  Look out for each other and be kind.
Sending you lots of love, good health and best wishes.
