All the build up and preparation for visitors and then a full house of fun and excitement comes to an abrupt end.  When our visitors left on Sunday morning the house fell silent and felt so empty.  And we felt exhausted!
We all had a good time and it was worth it.  So we have had a few lazy days. George has had a couple of days of work experience which he thoroughly enjoyed, so we were running him back and forth.
A trip to West Quay, a spot of golf for Ian, and then on Friday a trip to Birmingham saw us into the weekend again – a week passes by in a flash.
Friday was a very interesting day – Ian and I attended the #SBS Event.  This is Small Business Sunday, organised by Theo Paphitis.  He has created a community for small business support and networking – plus an annual event where you listen to speakers and mix with other businesses, seeking advice and making new connections.  You may recall that I entered before Christmas and was shocked to have been one of the successful six to be chosen that week.  So we went along to collect my certificate and have a photograph with the man himself.  The event was totally free – we were fed, watered and entertained which I thoroughly enjoyed.  It was a long tiring day though!
Meanwhile, at the shop, the windows have been changed, a couple of pairs of Robell seersucker cropped trousers were delivered and more Caprice, including these Spring/Summer trainers.  They are also available in denim and white.  Oh yes, and in my absence on Thursday, Annie received our new FOIL delivery – we placed a very small order as this range is slightly more expensive. Two dresses and a oversized white shirt with pocket – I’m awaiting images to share.
Have a good week, take care, look out for each other and be kind.
Sending you lots of love, good health and best wishes.
