The sunshine has been teasing us this week but at last it has come out and I hope it is here to stay for longer. Good weather is great for Emsworth and business. I had a very busy start to the week and left it to continue in the safe hands of Annie and Lyn.
I’ve been enjoying my garden again – weeding, weeding and more weeding! Treated myself to a well earned G&T and relaxed for a while soaking up the rays as you can see here!
Things were certainly hotting up for Boris – the cat with nine lives has finally used them up! But who will be next I wonder? I just hope that whoever it is, that they focus on the people and our country, rather than wasting time arguing with the opposition.
You won’t believe it, but I received notification from Caprice that they have despatched some of my Autumn/Winter order! Ankle boots are on their way! We are asked when ordering, when we’d like to take delivery and I usually just say whenever they are ready – but July???!!!! Oh well, at least they will be here and not subject to any delivery delays which we experienced last year due to Brexit hold ups, and I can put them into storage until we are ready for them.
It’s that time of year when we have to meet with our suppliers and place our forward orders for next summer! Our first meeting next week is to see
Mudd & Water so I am sure I’ll be able to give you a sneaky peak.
